NOTES FROM THE CALL:
When it comes to developing a WBS, most project managers either swear by the technique ... or swear at it. The latter response is usually caused by the vast amounts of incorrect, misleading, and inaccurate information about work breakdown structures. In this presentation, Bill Duncan, will explain why much of what you think you know about WBSs may be wrong, and will then set the record straight:
-- The "right" definition of a WBS
-- Why the USDoD approach doesn't fit most projects
-- How to select the first level of your WBS
-- Working with your team to develop a WBS
-- The role of a WBS in rolling wave planning
-- Do so-called "agile" software projects need a WBS or not?

NOTES FROM THE CALL:
Powerful teams are built on authenticity and the willingness to listen and be open. A major principle of powerful teams is that they must be a functioning with high integrity. This means that they are not settling for less than what they know they deserve in team relationships. Every person on the team asks for what they want and need from others. Each person speaking their truth, even though it might create conflict or tension. And they behave in ways that are in harmony with their personal values. All decisions and choices are made only after full and complete conversation, and they are made with the knowledge that the best decision has been made for moving forward.

You are craving this kind of teamwork! Working with the kind of team that works together to create a unified, creative group that moves forward “as if they are one entity, connected in trust, common purpose, and results”. Rarely do we find that type of culture, but I’m willing to take on the challenge to change that – how about you?

Here’s what you are going to learn on this revealing and sizzling hot call:
• Discover the one thing that creates the foundation for teams to create phenomenal results.
• The exact strategies necessary for Building Powerful Teams.
• How to make it easy and FUN to be a leader on any team in which you participate.
• The BIG secret to becoming “we” instead of “me”
• And much more…

ABOUT THE PRESENTER:
Georgia is a strong C-level executive with a business background in the insurance industry, specifically in technology. She is familiar with career transition in both career shifting and organizational change, and has worked on both sides of the downsizing equation. She created an encore career in an entrepreneurial business from the ground up and is strong in business plans, and execution. She is trained by Coach, Inc., Career Coach Institute and the Academy for Coaching Excellence as a professional coach as well as a member of the International Coach Federation.
