During the last week of December, 2012, the Project Management Institute released the fifth edition of the Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge, also called the PMBOK Guide. On July 31, 2013, the PMBOK Guide fifth edition will become the basis for the Project Management Professional or PMP exam. Over its lifetime, the PMBOK Guide receives updates every few years. The fifth edition contains big-time changes that will affect your PMP exam studies. This month’s PMP Study Group call provides an analysis of the changes implemented in the fifth edition. Dana Safford, PMP, will provide insight and practical examples of everything you need to know to building your critical knowledge mass and pass the PMP exam on the first attempt.
