NOTES FROM THE CALL:
While we created this podcast for an earlier version of the Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBoK), the concepts and all of the content are still valid for the PMBOK fifth edition.
The Project Management Institute requires every PMP candidate to sign and adhere to a code of professional conduct. That code of Professional Responsibility is detailed in version 4 of the Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBoK). It is also incorporated into the PMP examination. This month’s PMP Study call focuses on the professional responsibility, as laid out in PMBOK version 4. Dana Safford, PMP, will provide insight and practical examples of everything you need to know to building your critical knowledge mass and pass the PMP exam on the first attempt

NOTES FROM THE CALL:
What are the trends and issues impacting project management around the globe? The Project Management Institute’s Pulse of the Profession report looks at the macro environmental and business factors that are changing the project management landscape. The report links these factors to specific trends in enterprise project management practices and the development of project management practitioners. Pulse of the Profession draws from a number of sources to paint a timely picture of the project management profession. The heart of the report comes from PMI’s own Pulse of the Profession Survey, which is based on feedback from over 1,100 practitioners from around the globe. The survey explores trends in the practice of project management and how those practices correlate to project success or failure.
