Abstract of the presentation:
The PMP examination is now based on version 4 of the Guide to the Projuct Management Book of Knowledge (PMBoK). This month’s PMP Study call focuses on the Project Risk Management knowledge area as laid out in PMBOK version 4. There are changes in this area. Dana Safford, PMP, will provide insight and practical examples of everything you need to know to building your critical knowledge mass and pass the PMP exam on the first attempt.

3. Someone to arrange and coordinate speakers for PMJOBSHOP - about 1 to 2 hours per month
4. Co-host of PM Best Practices call - 2 hours per mohth
5. Someone to arrange and coordinate speakers for PM Best Practices - about 1 to 2 hours per month
6. Someone to help with volunteer coordination - 2 to 4 hours per month
7. Someone to post podcasts - about 2 hours per month
8. co-webmaster - someone to help with webmaster - maybe 2 hours per month

Abstract of the presentation:
Jim De Piante got tricked into becoming a youth soccer coach. Though relatively inexperienced as a player, for 14 years he was extraordinarily successful as a youth soccer coach because of his ability to lead teams.

Jim joined IBM as a software engineer after serving as a flight crewman in the US Navy and after graduating summa cum laude from the University of Florida in Computer Information Systems.

He has led development projects in hardware, software, architecture, and eBusiness development, having done work for the IBM Product Divisions, IBM Global Services and ibm.com. He has recently returned to the US from an assignment in IBM Italy. He is presently managing the Jeopardy Challenge project for IBM Research.

Jim is an internationally acclaimed project management practitioner, trainer and speaker. He is an Executive Project manager who holds IBM's highest PM certification, that of Executive Level Manager. Jim is also certified as an intermediate youth soccer coach and regional youth soccer referee.

On Thursday, he will tell us about his experiences as a youth soccer coach and leader.
